52 Week Challenge, Week 24 – Pretty in Pink Wedding

These are challenging and stressful times for a lot of people and for those who have had to cancel and rearrange their wedding – multiple times in some cases!! – the disappointment and financial losses add another level of difficulty to the life we are all experiencing at the moment.

This week I have created a panel from a wedding I photographed recently.

Tim and Sarah were due to celebrate their marriage with a large celebration in April 2020 – early on in the lockdown – so that had to be cancelled.

Despite the restriction on the number of guests allowed limiting the size of the wedding they attempted to fix a date twice more in 2020. But both times they had to cancel the arrangements.

So finally at the end of May 2021, in front of a handful of family and friends they managed a small but beautiful wedding ceremony and celebration. Sarah wore a gorgeous pink floaty dress and co-ordinated everything within the colour theme. So it truly was a pretty pink wedding.

Sarah still plans to wear her original wedding dress and to recreate the large celebration they had originally planned as soon as it becomes possible.

Sarah and Tim make a lovely couple and were determined to become Mr & Mrs.
